Mulmur Farm

Our customers desired to match the existing stonework on the historical buildings on the property. This lead to the decision to use stones removed from the land by those that farmed the land for the last century. For the most part, each stone was collected by hand by the landowners.

Our masons hand-split large field stones to achieve this authentic, timeless look. Despite the requirements of new construction (such as housing pool equipment), the end result maintains a cohesive feeling with the traditional farm. This was one of many project completed in collaboration with John Gordon of J. W. Gordon Custom Homes Inc. located in Creemore.
